Introduction

The Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons Indemnity Scheme is a not for profit company limited by guarantee, owned and run by its members. There are no shareholders to satisfy.
PRASIS was founded in 2010 in response to concerns raised by plastic and reconstructive surgeons about the cost of professional indemnity; the lack of reward for good practice; lack of transparency about how subscriptions were set and the limited choice available.

Brief

PRASIS briefed 07 Heaven Design for a website to be built that allowed them the flexibility to be able to add and edit pages on their website.

Solution

Creation of the PRASIS website using Joomla Content Management System with a bespoke front end design.
"Joomla is an open-source (CMS) and application framework that powers 2.7% of the entire web. With a vibrant volunteer community, user-friendly features and plenty of power."

Result

PRASIS now have the ability to completely manage all the data within their site, including navigation, footer, adding text, creating pages and inserting images.
